OUR ORGANIZATION
The organizational structure of the Movement of Women with Disabilities in Tanzania (MOWADITA) is designed to ensure effective governance, decision-making, and implementation of programs that support women and girls with disabilities. At the top, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) serves as the highest decision-making body, bringing together all members to discuss policies, strategic direction, and key organizational matters. The Board of Directors provides leadership and oversight, ensuring that MOWADITA adheres to its mission and vision while maintaining transparency and accountability. The day-to-day operations are managed by the Executive Secretary, who leads the Management Team comprising various departments and volunteers dedicated to program implementation, advocacy, resource mobilization, and member support. Through this structured hierarchy, MOWADITA ensures effective coordination, collaboration with stakeholders, and impactful service delivery, ultimately advancing the rights and empowerment of women and girls with disabilities in Tanzania.
